Grilling Tip #2 – Food on a Stick
By Schwan's Home Service, May 10, 2016
Kabobs are a great way to cook—and serve—a meal on a stick. To make sure all your ingredients cook evenly, cut your meats and veggies into similar sizes and leave a little space between them. Also, check out these fun variations on a theme:
- Grilled Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Kabobs with Apricot Glaze: Brush apricot jam over Fully Cooked Bacon Slices wrapped around Jumbo Cooked Tail-On Shrimp for a mouthwatering kabob.
- Grilled Italian Tortellini and Sausage Kabob: Take your favorite pasta salad ingredients and skewer them with pieces of Summer Sausage and Six Cheese Tortellini for a fun twist on a salad.
- Grilled Meatball BBQ Kabob Sliders: Grill individual Italian Style Meatballs and add burger fixings, like Ciabatta Rolls and American Processed Cheese Slices, to skewers after removing them from the grill.
