Schwan’s Cares: Keeping an Honored Holiday Tradition Bright
By Schwan's Home Service, December 22, 2015
Simple set-up and easy sharing on social media were a few of the reasons the Bentleyville Tour of Lights chose Schwan’s Cares as a fundraising partner.
Keeping America’s largest free public lighting display aglow throughout the holiday season requires a little help. Bentleyville, a seasonal wonderland on the waterfront in Duluth, Minnesota, is a beloved community tradition. Bentleyville is free, open to the public, and operated by volunteers. Planning an outdoor spectacle that attracts as many as 150,000 visitors is no small feat, so when they chose a fundraising partner, simplicity and ease of use was huge.
Here’s what Tim Rogentine, Event Coordinator for Bentleyville, had to say about it:
“Bentleyville chose the Schwan’s Cares program as a way to help fundraise for our nonprofit event. Schwan’s made it easy to set up our campaign and spread the word through social media. Plus, Schwan’s carries a wide variety of high-quality products that our guests already enjoy, making it easy to pick and choose the meals and treats that are delivered directly to their homes. This was simply an opportunity we could not pass on!”
